As long as baby is gaining weight, having healthy bowel movements, pee diapers throughout the day, don’t worry about her weight!
My daughter is 7.5 weeks and she is 12 pounds give or take an ounce or two!

Mine is 11lbs at 7 weeks and she was only six at birth. Babies gain a lot of weight at first and then start to slow down.

How do you know how much your baby weighs ? Mine is 7 weeks. We had a 2 week appt with pediatrician, but not another until his 2 month ?

My seven week old is 2oz shy of 12 pounds.

can't speak for OP but our baby has well checks at one day after hospital, one week, one month and then two months.

idk what OP does but I weigh myself and then weigh myself holding baby girl and find the difference… not 100% accurate but gives me a ballpark idea

Babies are supposed to gain about an ounce a day during the first 3 months- however, the amount per day will fluctuate. (For example: no weight gain for 2 days and then a big weight gain on day 3)

16 ounces in a pound- so almost half a pound each week.

If baby is gaining enough weight all depends on how much your baby weighed at birth. If baby was around 9 pounds at birth- this is normal weight gain.

7 ounces a week x 7 weeks = 49 ounces

49 ounces is roughly 3 lbs

My son is almost 5 weeks and is 13.5lbs. He was 9lbs at birth so that’s over 4lbs plus the weight he lost while my milk was coming in.

I got on a very reliable scale and then my husband handed me baby girl. Her one month appt she was 11 and her two month appt is soon
