So I’ve been TTC for three months this now. I’m new to this, my other pregnancies were like BOOM pregnant. So I am new to ovulation tracking but this whole time I’ve been making sure to baby dance when LH is the highest but I recently learned that you ovulate 24 hours after that. So now I feel like I might have been in my own way this whole time because I didn’t know that information. 😭 I know sperm can live a while in there but I’m sad that I’ve been forcing them to this whole time when I could have baby danced on my day off ovulation and probably give myself much better odds, right? Ughhh. Here goes another two week wait for me and probably another negative test.

Ideally you want to baby dance a few times ~ days leading up to ovulation and day of ovulation. It’s never a guarantee, but it does increase chances of pregnancy if there’s more sperm. Sperm can live up to 5 days inside of you.
If you don’t end up pregnant this month, I’d recommend checking in with your doctor to make sure everything is good (estrogen, progesterone, blood work, uterine health, etc).

You’ve been doing it right lol the best bet is to have sex every 3 days around your fertile window. Sperm can live for up to 5 days but something like 80% of it doesn’t live past 72 hours
