Full meals

I know that food is for fun until one, but unless I am putting the food in my little boys mouth he is just playing with it. It mostly goes on the floor, much to my dogs delight! Should he be eating meals by now? I’m so worried that he is behind with his eating.

My boy is 9 months. He has breakfast & lunch and they are whole meals. (He also snack in between) remember every baby is sooooo different and not every baby is ready for full meals.

So my baby varies day to day. Some days he gives 3 meals a good go other days he isn’t interested at all. All you can do is keep offering and model eating for him! They don’t actually need 3 solid meals as such until closer to one and so much can change in that time. As long as baby is still having enough milk I wouldn’t worry they’re all so different and one day it’ll click x

Mine is exactly the same. She is interested in yoghurt or puffies, not too much in cooked, real food. I am putting all this energy into cooking for her, and most of it goes on the floor.

I'm offering 3 meals but I find he will eat breakfast and dinner but lunch not so much

My boy is nearly 9 months. He’s really not that fused with food at the moment so it’s just trying different vegetables, fruits and meats every day. Other than recently we’ve been introducing our meals as we have hellofresh so making them baby friendly and we find he’s much more intrigued to eat what we’re eating
