Here for the same advice too! Im having my csec monday morning! Goodluck mama! 🍼👶🏻

Just had my second C section. The hospital will provide you with everything you need, so don’t bother packing much. For yourself, I would just pack a going home outfit and hygiene things. If you want a robe or pajamas to wear while there that too, but honestly the hospital gown they give you is your best yet. The recovery is tough so the gown makes it easy to go to the bathroom and stuff. If you have a special pillow pack that too, hospital pillows suck. Other than that, you probably won’t need anything. Definitely take advantage of all the things they have and take the extras home with you after!!!

@Natasha thank you! Good luck to you too🫶🏻

@Chelsea thank you!!🫶🏻

Good luck I’m going in on the 2nd and just breath and everything will work out but pjs and a home outfit and of course what the baby is going to wear home

The hospital will give you everything you need like disposable underwear, pads, belly binder. The only thing I really liked that wasn’t from the hospital were the Frida mom disposable boy shorts. About two weeks after (check with your doc) you can start silicone scar strips. Take it easy! Congrats!

I would bring an outfit for baby going home, an outfit for yourself, toiletries you need (you can always ask for them from the hospital though) everything does get provided for you, I bought some really cheap disposable flip flops to take a shower in. I will be bringing my nursing pillow, nursing/pumping bra. I definitely suggest asking the hospital for a cushion or bringing an extra cushion when I got my first c section my spine and tailbone felt on fire all of the time and having an extra pillow helped ALOT. The last thing I will suggest is your own blanket not really for you but to have in general that has your scent while BF baby so that smell is really there, it really helped boost the bond with me and my first child a simple throw blanket that's not too big to too small 😊 I hope this helps bring any chargers for your electronics or books and maybe food from home cause the hospital food was a gamble after the groggy surgery feeling it doesn't wear out till about 3 days

Thank you guys sm!
