He's 13 months ( arrived a few weeks early). Not walking unassisted yet either
Pushy toys create different walking pattern. Surround her with things she can hold balance practice walking (sofa, bookshelf), climbers, picker triangle, practice climbing stairs- everything that strengthens back and legs. Or just leave her alone, if she crawls she is fine with that until 18 months
@Mariya She does all that you mentioned though, she seems to be really strong and ready, she just gets scared for some reason. She looks for us to make sure we are there holding her. But I noticed if she forgets we are with her sometimes she will take 2, or 3 steps alone but as soon as she notices that she is doing it by herself she will freak out and stop or cry.
@Kate I’m glad to know I'm not the only one 😄thank you!
@Carla don’t worry, if she does steps herself she will start walking really soon. My lo started standing couple weeks after what you describe. It will be soon
My son is 12 months and not yet walking/standing independently. He’s a fast crawler, pulls up to stand and cruises along furniture. I’m not concerned, he’ll walk in his own time and it’s still early for them to be walking at 12 months.
All babies are different, don’t stress over it! After all, when do you ever see a 5 year old who can’t walk? My 12 month old isn’t walking yet either. He can stand by himself without pulling up on anything + can also stand by himself by balancing for a couple of minutes but no walking. He doesn’t like using his push toy and I never make him try. I enjoy watching his development happen naturally.
Hey ! My son’s not walking either haha! And my neice didn’t start walking til she was 18 months old (nothing was wrong she just didn’t want to) Also beautiful babygirl 🩷
