Yes. I’m in one at the moment. Took me a while to but they called up on a random day while I was in my temp accommodation through Birmingham city council

@Hollie how many bedrooms are you entitled to. My support worker is ridiculous I’ve heard from her twice I’ve tried to reach out to her multiple time she never answered my calls or texts.

I was band an and got a property in 2 weeks. Double check everything is correct and they have all the information they need.
Try midland heart, I was in a homeless hostel whilst 4-7 months pregnant and was bidding on both and getting no where with bcc but got a 2 bedroom new build house within 3 months on midland heart x

@Emma oh wow that’s amazing I’m happy for you. When was this because I have been trying midland heart for ages way before bcc and have had no luck. Recently I would say the past year it has been soo rare they post houses and if they do the eligibility criteria I do not fit in such as already a midland heart tenant, need more rooms, work over 16hrs. The new build you were given was it the new ones in the great Barr area x
It was out of area which may be why I got it so quick as I didn’t mind where I moved as long as I had somewhere, it was in Northampton , I started bidding in February , got the message to say I came first on the property the start of may and I got the keys and moved in on may 16th x
@Emma I’ve been trying midland heart for years there’s only ever one or 2 properties. I’ve been with BCC for 5 years. It’s crazy.
@Presh I might have got it quicker since I wasn’t tied to birmingham, I was bidding everywhere Northampton derby Leicester birmingham etc x
@Presh yeah midland heart have also gone down hill with properties the last year nothing has been coming only 1bed flats and sanctuary housing.
I’m at my wits end with it all

I was in A up until recently when for someone reason I was placed in C now they’ve placed me in B I’m fighting to get back into A
