Nap time at Gatwivk Airport

Does anyone have experience with getting their 16-month-old to nap at Gatwick Airport? Are there any facilities where I can retreat to provide some quiet time for a nap? We are going to arrive at bang on my boy’s nap time so ideally he could have a nap but im afraid the entire airport experience is too overstimulating with no quiet space..

Could you buy lounge passes? Not super quiet but quieter than the main airport.

I found that we pushing our little ones nap and he napped on the plane which made the plane experience better for us.

There is a quiet zone in Gatwick or at least used to be.

Same as @Becky We usually wake her up earlier/later than usual and move her nap around so she can sleep in the plane and it’s been working for us so far.

I didn’t go from Gatwick but we pushed my little girl in her pram and she fell asleep and we went in the lounge and it was nice and quiet in there for her to have a good hour sleep x

If you're in north terminal there's a quiet corridor downstairs, we tend to go into it through the doors to the right of the duty free (the one underneath wagamama). There are some gates along there but in our experience they're not often used so most times we've been it's been empty. A nice long stretch to walk up and down!

Thank you all for your comments! We found the quiet corridors and was great! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!xx
