How do I get over my baby getting older?

I’ve got a 2.5yr old and I’m sorry to say it doesn’t get any better 😅. It’s the most random things that catch you off guard as well. Like when they turn around and say a certain ‘grown up’ phrase or do a weird lil dance 😭 or stupid things like asking them to count and they just rattle it off… And then having the second it goes even faster cause you’ve got another kid that divides your attention so one minute you’ve got a newborn and the next they’re starting to play with the older one and you see parts of your first baby in the second and you can’t believe they were ever that small 🥹
Oh I have literally just been watching a video of a baby changing each month up until a year and I’m not ready.
My little girl is 6 months today too and I cried so much when doing her 6 month picture 😭😭
I’m exactly the same, my heart actually breaks looking at previous photos, let’s not even talk about bagging up their smaller clothes 😭 I’m a baby belongings hoarder at this stage x

@Kareena oh honestly I can’t get rid of anything 😢and I’m moving house in a few months too so I can’t keep it all. I go in his memory box all the time just remember how tiny he was xx
In my experience, it's worse the second time as it seems to go even faster! But honestly, try to live in the moment. When you start to feel sad about what's passed, remind yourself what you love about the current phase xx
