@Amber That’s why I didn’t want to do it but my dads gone in a mood with me because I asked him to do them and he cut baby by accident so now he’s gone in a mood with me for asking him cause he’s upset cause he cut him
I use an electric nail filer because I’ve been so terrified of doing that. 😭

This happened more than once for me as well. It is a horrible feeling, but their nails are so tiny, it happens.
I've done this before! It happens, baby will heal and forget about it ❤️ it happens, don't beat yourself up!

Ahh my son went from being born with an extra pink down to 4 on one hand at 4m old. Dad cut his skin, pretty bad, it healed up fine but we brought the file after that. It’s hard but we are all learning and baby won’t remember. Cut each other some slack, we all feel terrible when these things happen but they are accidents. Baby is okay and that’s the main thing xx
Absolutely no worries. I accidentally got my niece when she was younger (and like your dad I felt so sad I did and told my sister I couldn’t do it anymore), so when I learned about it, that’s what I’ve been using with him.

Iv done this more than once! My husband won’t do his nails for this reason it’s a horrible feeling though the mum guilt!
