Toddler showing favoritism

Did any of you have a toddler who clearly liked 1 twin more than the other? My son was 22m old when I had my fraternal girls. They’re 4 months now. He’s always kissing on 1 twin and showing her all his toys etc, but never the other. So when I noticed it happening continuously I would ask him “would you like to show London your toys too?” Or “do you want to give London a hug too?” And he’ll turn his head or back towards her and have this face on like “absolutely not”. Not sure what to do, I don’t want her to grow up feeling like the left out sibling.

Not a toddler but I have a nine year old who only plays with and talks to one triplet!

I did start to notice a bit of a preference when our twins were approx 6mo. Tbf our 4yo liked the one who giggled the most and cried the least so I can understand that. I didn't force the issue as I think that would have drawn attention to it. I did make an effort to point out all the funny, cute things about the grumpier twin. Now our 4yo flits between the two more equally. Hopefully it's just a phase.

That would be really hard with a sibling I'm sorry! I have 21 nieces and nephews and they each have a favorite with my twins, which is okay cause when some of them are playing with one, other kids play with the other one! So I just wanna say it is normal for kids to favor one over the other but that is tough to navigate with him being big bro/:

@Hannah that is also true for my twins, he shows the most attention to the 1 that literally only cries when she’s hungry or sleepy. The other one cries a lot because she’s a Velcro baby😭😭 I guess that could be it

I have an 11-year-old sibling who favors my girl twin but plays with both.
