False positive?

Hi! I tested 2 days ago and I had a faint positive, I tested again today with FMU and I don’t see anything there… has anyone had false positives with pregmate tests? I had a chemical a few months ago and had a lot of bleeding and cramping and I haven’t had any of that since testing positive a few days ago so I’m not sure

I heard they give false positives a lot unfortunately

Shoot :( thanks! I have a whole bag of them so hopefully they’re not all flukes!

Honestly with these I had a line less than that, then had a dye stealer with the same urine with a first response. That looks like a real line, so I would get another brand test!

@Lauren do you think even with the negative from this morning? Maybe I’ll grab some FR tests just in case

That doesn’t look like a positive to me, especially because that’s 100% taken outside the 3-5 minute window. I think they are both negative and the pregmate ink bled. Lines aren’t that close together

The line was there at 4 minutes, I took the picture a few minutes later because I wasn’t sure if it was a line or not. I don’t think the lines are abnormally close together on the test in the comments but I could be wrong as this is my first time using pregmate tests.

I prob give false hope 😅 But I think it all depends how early it is, like how many days dpo. I thought I saw something at 7dpo, and took a first response and it was positive. Like very faint but 100% there And my pregmates didn’t really have much color at all until a day or 2 after my missed period, but I was having dye stealers like 5 days before my missed. Thought it was twins 😅 but just one spunky babe that implanted very quickly 😂 I don’t think there’s any harm in taking a branded tested (pink dye preferably), just to be sure!

@Kiarra she had a picture in the comments that has a very faint line. The one in the main post that is a bleeder, I get those a lot too.

@Ashlyn if that’s the first test, and the ones on the top of the post are the follow ups, I would say it was probably a chemical then
