I only wanted my husband into delivery room with me, and be with me the whole time. I allowed my parents(with my 2.5 year old,) my aunt and cousin, and my husband‘s grandmother and Aunt to come visit for short visits, about 30 minutes, but it was just me and him up there.
@Lindsay my sister thought that I was gone have my mama in there for my daughter but I'm like uhm no I love my mama but I don't want her in there her daddy gone be in there and he was in there for our son I don't like crowds
@Morgan me personally I think having a crowd is overwhelming
I had my mom and husband with me for active labor. My first pregnancy, I had like 10 people visit me during non-active, but it was a long day and pre-covid. My third was just my husband, mom, and birth mom, but I think birth mom stepped out during pushing.
@Karis 🦩 that's wassup do you plan to have them there this time
@Dorvey For sure… we don’t even like visitors at our house very much for the first 2–3 weeks. Those groups all came separately with only 2 people at a time, not counting my daughter with my mom and dad.
@Dorvey I'm not sure about birth mom, but I know mom and husband will be there.
@Morgan I feel you my nerves gets bad when it's alot of people then on top of that there is always that one person that swear they run everything ofc everyone will be excited but I don't need that I need peace
@Karis 🦩 are you excited
I went back and forth with asking my sisters to be in the room and in the end I'm glad I didn't for this one. Only because I don't know what would be said during labor/delivery and what would tick me off lol I guess it really depends on the personalities and relationships and only you can decide how these people would make you feel in labor.
