I had something like this. They checked my BP etc but put it down to blood sugar in the end. There is also a thing where your heart rate can suddenly drop and your body resets itself. Common in pregnancy. Best to speak to your midwife about it and get them to check your BP, urine etc to make sure there aren't any underlying causes. If they're all good, then it's most likely one of those annoying pregnancy things!

Yes I had this maybe 6-7 times throughout the pregnancy! The only thing that helped was eating so I put it down to blood sugar (brought it up at a midwife appointment and she agreed, said it can happen even if you’re in good shape & not diabetic). I noticed the trigger was if I ate only something carby & sweet but no protein or anything. So made sure if I was having like toast or fruit or something to also have something savory

I used to get this everyday when I was working and I have gestational diabetes and would check and it was never my sugars or my blood pressure, my midwife put it down to me and baby overheating (worked in a hairdressers so got very hot often) and the only thing that would help was sitting down with a cold drink and putting a cold flannel on my neck and would come round pretty quickly x

Thanks ladies , I was with the consultant today before it happened so no and urine were fine - I think I was naturally hot in the house then just went from 0-100 I did stuff my face in hope it would take the shakes away and icy water , splashed my face and stripped down, all seemed to work after a while, I’m also an emotional hormonal wreck today so maybe hormones were on the rise again ? Was very scary xx

Had this several times over the past month and been checked for pre-eclampsia, GB and allsorts. They eventually put it down to heat exhaustion. Just stay hydrated and drink plenty of water and been staying indoors in the shade with plenty of ventilation xx
