Multiple Miscarriages

Background on me. I had a MC at 15w 3 months ago - found out he had Trisomy. Last night I had a miscarriage & would have been 7 weeks today. Got my blood drawn today & will go back Saturday for another draw. Then will talk to my OB next week about moving forward/next steps. My question is, for those of you who have had multiple miscarriages, did you ever get any answers or figure out why? Or did you just have to keep trying to conceive and hope it goes to term? Anything they did the next time you got pregnant that helped? I spoke with my friend who has experienced multiple losses as well and she told me when she got pregnant they put her on progesterone and metformin until she was 14 weeks. Just curious about others experiences so I can maybe bring things up to my OB next week Thanks in advance ❤️

I’m so sorry for your losses 💔 I’ve had 4 early miscarriages all of them before 9 weeks. I was referred to a fertility specialist and all the testing came back normal for us so it was really frustrating not having an answer. She did tell me to start taking a prenatal, omega 3 and vitamin D a couple months before trying again and told my husband to take FertilPro which we had to order off Amazon. It’s a antioxidant that help improve the dna of sperm. I actually ended up getting pregnant the first time trying after starting the supplements and I’m currently 23 weeks with a healthy baby. When I found out I was pregnant she immediately put me on a high dose of progesterone and told me to take a baby aspirin once a day. I was on the progesterone until 12 weeks and I still take a daily baby aspirin and I will until I give birth

I’m sorry this happened to you. I was on progesterone my whole pregnancy after multiple miscarriages and losing 2 of my triplets in this pregnancy. No one could tell me why it happened

I’ve had 2 both around 8-10 week mark. Get as much investigation done as you can. All my bloods and ultra sound were normal. I went both NHS and private to give me the best chance being under both care. We ended up going private for fertility investigation, I had a very high egg count for my age as does my husband has a high sperm count. Another ultra sound all fine, no abnormal uteris shape this can contribute to loss and blocked tubes is also common. Weeks after this I found out I was pregnant. Went straight onto progesterone, prescribed folic acid as it’s high dosage, blood thinner injections and low dose asprine to help maintain pregnancy. I was on all these for around 12 weeks but sometimes Dr will put you on it longer depending on your circumstances. All I can say is keep pushing and trying I know it’s mentally and emotionally draining. I have endometriosis, polycystic ovariesand underactive thyroid which can affect fertility too but it will happen.

I’m so sorry for your losses 💕 I had 2 Mmc around the 8 week mark. After that, I started seeing a fertility specialist who did a bunch of tests. I got my chromosome testing back, and it came back positive for Mosaic Turner. Basically it makes a majority of my eggs “bad” which has caused my Mmc. Next step for us is IVF which gives us a better chance of getting a viable embryo. Good luck to you and I hope you get your triple rainbow soon! 🌈

Hey gal so I’m currently going through the same , I’ve had 4 miscarriages. My last one was Feb and I’ve had to push from there to get seen , I have a gynae appointment at the end of September and I’ve had to again push to get my bloody taken for progesterone, Phone the GP and tell them you want your progesterone tested , I pushed to get mine done and turns out mines is low but again having to push to even get anything for it. Defos keep pushing to get seen gal , also your more then welcome to message me if you need to talk xx

I’m sorry you’re going through this. It’s honestly the most painful journey! I went to a specialist a month ago and got all of the testing! Even if they told us we didn’t need it, I told them we need to do it. I finally got an answer. I have a fibroid. My fibroid is sticking into my uterine cavity and needs to be removed. If I were to get pregnant without removing it, it would most likely cause miscarriage. I go for surgery soon. It’s nice to have answers but I’m disappointed it took so long. It also took me advocating for my health for it to happen!
