My partner is vegan and recently I’ve decided to join, we have a one year old and I’m interested in kid friendly recipes. Does anyone have any favorite recipes? Something quick and easy to throw together?

Hi, I recommend buying this cookbook: https://www.amazon.com/Plant-Based-Baby-Toddler-Complete-Feeding/dp/0593192117/ref=as_li_ss_tl?crid=2EBWJUFFDPKU9&dchild=1&keywords=plant+based+baby+and+toddler&qid=1619450227&s=books&sprefix=plantbased+baby+and+toddler,aps,165&sr=1-3&linkCode=sl1&tag=deliciknowle-20&linkId=68c112cc83c121004ca4d8b241594d69&language=en_US&nodl=1

Plant Based Juniors is a great resource. They have a bunch of e-cookbooks as well and some recipes on their website. About 90% of what my one year old eats is from their recipes. https://plantbasedjuniors.com/category/recipes/

I just made these pancakes and they turned out well: https://www.delishknowledge.com/baby-led-weaning-banana-pancakes/#tasty-recipes-28304-jump-target

Something so easy and really tasty is tofu pizza - press some tofu, cut it into a few sheets, add to a pan with some oil, spread salt free tomato sauce, and sprinkle with nutritional yeast

Another good pancake recipe - I use half buckwheat and half whole wheat flour https://www.yummytoddlerfood.com/vegan-banana-pancakes/

These are are great snack:

thank you so much I definitely will be trying these to see what my little one likes

wow, thanks for sharing! I have been looking for something like this

Pasta marinara, black bean burger, pancakes, oatmeal, roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes, baked bbq tofu, baked beans, Mac n cheese, pasta Alfredo (using cashews). Just google “vegan __fill in the blank__” and you can get lots of recipes to try.

Ch××zy pasta made from cashew nuts, water, garlic powder and yeast is one of my favorites! My little girl loves it!
Are you comfortable with your partner taking your toddler out without you, a few hours from home?
My partner has been begging to take our LO to see his family 2 hours away from home without me for around a year now, but because they've never spent the whole day together without me I don't feel at ease about it. My son is abit shy until he warms up to people and my partner and his family are just very loud and energetic all the time. His family also don't really have boundaries with children and I don't feel my son will be comfortable there.
My partner also has never had to take initiative with our son's routine and our son sometimes doesn't eat very well in certain people's company. So overall I just don't feel comfortable about it.
Whenever we talk about this he makes it seem like I'm the bad guy for not trusting him to be comfortable/confident with putting our son's needs first, and doesn't seem to understand where I'm coming from. He says he understands, but then still begs for it to happen but for over the past year hasn't made the effort to be solo with our son. He's also had to work alot mon-sunday for the majority of our son's life so some things just don't come naturally to him (like understanding our son's communication), but then it's up to him to really make up for that.
They have a really loving bond and play together alot, but parenting isn't just about play of course🤣
What should I do? Allow him to take him to his parents or stand my ground until things change and I feel comfortable?

Does anyone know the actual eligibility for 30 hours funded childcare in UK?
I’ve read it’s if you earn 100k or less a year but I know some people who aren’t eligible for it when they earn 30k or so
Super confusing
Any advice or information will be appreciated! 🙏🏻

Just like the title says I'm just wondering if your husband's stayed at the hospital with you through birth and recovery. I'm going for my scheduled c-section and I've been talking to him about packing a bag which of course he waits last minute to do, but he also made a comment saying I just want him up my ass. I told him if that's the way he feels then don't stay because what kind of shit is that? Where else are you going to go while I'm having your baby, and going through major surgery and recovery? He actually tried to say it's my insecurities talking. Not at all. My main concern is him going to get a drink and downing it while we are in the hospital. I shouldn't have to be worried about anything, or anyone else. This shit is unbelievable to even be dealing with on a day like today.

My husband is going to Spain over the weekend and for a few days in the week to help his cousin with an event. I can’t help but feel jealous. I’ve been doing the nights with my 4 month old and I really barely sleep at night. I get him to help but I have to wake him up to help sometimes over the weekend. I’m exhausted and just feel like he will be living his best life and leaving me with the 4 month old and toddler. Am I being selfish

Is anyone else in a situation where you and your partner just aren’t getting on?
We have just bought a house and my other half has done everything for the house buy I said if he wanted to move when baby was so small then it was all on him as bubba was only a month old when the process started, he accepted this but it’s now being thrown in my face. I have done every night feed for 8 months baby doesn’t sleep longest stretch I get is 4hrs and that’s rare I’m up 5-7 times a night and im exhausted, he never wakes and says let me do this feed you stay in bed. he’s frustrated we’re not being intimate but I genuinely have nothing left to give him come the evenings, I’m going back to work part time next month and I’ll still be expected to do all the night feeds I have told him to pick one night at the weekend to take on Ive had enough he’s said he will but I doubt it will happen. I’m honestly at a loss I really don’t like being around him at all at the moment and I’m so worried it won’t go back to how it was before or at least a new happy normal we’re so at odds with each other right now.
Please tell me it’s normal and it does get better or at least tell me you can’t stand your OH right now too 😂
Sorry for the essay

My baby will be 6 months in a couple of days we have just started introducing little bits of food as she was showing all signs of being ready. I gave her something last night, as well as baby porridge this morning and was going to give her something this evening also, and shes tried a baby blueberry waffer which she loves. I was just wondering is this too much for her only just being 6 months but shes really enjoying trying new foods. Shes having about a tablespoon in the morning and evening and im just letting her tell me when shes had enough usually she wont open her mouth if shes had enough as otherwise shes opening her mouth for it.
