It’s a long one but please read :)

Hey guys! I’m sure some of you have read some of my posts but if you haven’t here is my story: 6/6 I had a D&E for a 16 week loss. 6/25 started birth control, lasted 3 weeks with a period in the middle 7/18 stopped birth control, ovulation tested every day 8/1 for sure thought I was pregnant because my ovulation tests started going high and faint positives on my hpt. Got my blood drawn 8/3 and it was negative. They said it was probably residual hcg in my urine making its way out. Ovulation tests peaked and went down on 8/3 evening. Still have yet to get a period. Now yesterday evening (8/9) I had a negative pregnancy test but I was pretty hydrated. Today 8/10 I have a faint positive again. Do you think it’s possible that’s still residual hcg a week after the blood draw was negative or is it possible this is new?

I would say it’s new! Congrats!!!!!

@Fenella im worried it was too diluted last night to truly be a negative and I hate waiting 😂

I would say positive congratulations!

I would try not to pee or drink for like 3-4 hours. Drink but don’t drink a ton and then pee into a cup and test multiple if the first is a positive. That way you can re use pee instead of having to wait again

@Gabrielle I’m going to do first morning urine and use multiples tomorrow if it’s positive but idk if this is a new pregnancy or what. Thank you for your response!

It doesn’t necessarily have to be first morning pee. It just needs to be concentrated. Like for me I drink a lot of water at night so it wouldn’t be good for a first pee. But later in the day is good for me because I don’t drink as much. So just think about when you don’t drink the most and try then

@Gabrielle I drink a lot through the day so first morning is the most concentrated for me!
