Pregnancy test turned positive later?

TTC number 2 here! Tested this morning, was definitely negative/one line. Today I left the test on the side for a bit and still negative so popped it in the bin. Later on I’ve gone to put something else in the bin and I can see the faintest line?! But it’s probably been in the bin for half an hour so over the time they tell you to check. Don’t want to get my hopes up but of course it has. 🤦‍♀️ Has this happened to anyone else and it’s actually been positive. I have tested a couple of days early; will test again in a day or two when period is due.

I had this bit tested again in the following morning with my first wee and it was more clear was just really early so was faint at first

This is how I found out I was pregnant with my first, it said negative I saw it later on and it was positive! X

Oh thank you so much both! I’m going to keep my fingers crossed in this case! 🤞 Off to go buy some tests for tomorrow morning in that case, see if it’s any darker or happens again! Thank you! X

I dont want to burst your bubble but this happened to me even though I definitely wasn't pregnant (if you leave them too long you can get whats called an evaporation line) Best of luck you to though xxx

@Alice oh please don’t worry, I’d rather know! Is that what’s it’s called? I did wonder if there is something like this that can happen so thank you! I’ve got myself some HCG strips and tests, and I’ll have another go tomorrow and day after, see if similar thing happens! If it’s not meant to be, it’s not meant to be! We’ll just have to try again 🤞 thank you! X
