I'd say listen to your body, it'll tell you if you're pushing it too much. Cinema sounds like a pretty relaxing activity too and something you might not be able to do again in a while lol.

Listen to your body, we went to the cinema a couple of weeks ago and I officially finished working (37 weeks), then went on a family holiday to Wales last week doing a lot of walking! I did take a day off to relax in the house though. We got back Friday and went in for an induction 9am yesterday (which is still going on!). I'm glad we got away but if you feel you need a rest then don't feel bad about putting your feet up whilst you can 😊

It completely depends on what makes you feel comfortable! Today I’ve arranged to go out for a meal with my friend tomorrow (I’m 38+5) This is my second and know time out will be gone for a while so trying to go out while I can 😂 That being said, bags are in my partners car and I’m not going far for a meal just in case.

I have been doing for a while but mainly due to bad pgp so I can’t really go very far anyway. Although my c section is on Friday and Thursday night we’re going playing mini golf as a final date night😂 the hospital bags will be going in the car just in case😂

I’ve not stopped. Slowed down a lot as need to chill. But still going out and doing the garden etc. totally up to you what you want to do. Just do the things that make you happy xx I’m 39+2

Listen to your body. I've cut back the last couple of weeks, only really going out with someone, mostly because I have a 3 year old and I'm nervous of anything starting and I'm out with him on my own. I'm 40+3

I’m 40 weeks today and trying to carry on as normal! Your body will tell you when it’s time to rest! Today I walked in the park, went shopping, got my lashes done and did a lash lift on my sister in law 🤣🤣

Your body will 100% let you know if you are over doing it! I had to start slowing down at 35 weeks bc I was aching everywhere (was still working but had to begin taking a lot more breaks and sit a lot more) but now that I’m about to hit 40 weeks I have a little more energy so I’ve been trying to get out and about as much as possible, even just to the shops and back, we went out for dinner last night and things like that But definitely as everyone is saying just listen to your body! Ive seen women working out and stuff right up until the day they go into labour

I didn’t with my last baby - swam 1 km the day before he was born. And don’t think I’ll be able to with this baby as I’m busy entertaining my toddler. Got a few comments today when I was out about how risky it was but I can’t just stay at home with him. Having said that, definitely listen to your body and if you’re able to just relax, definitely do. Going to the cinema though doesn’t sound too strenuous so if you want to go and feel up to it, definitely go. Won’t be as easy to do that once the baby is here so make the most of it while you can xx

I went to a seated concert at 38w as it's my partner and my favourite artist and just wanted a nice date night before bub arrives. I'm mainly just limiting myself to situations where the car is on hand in case of anything. Totally up to how you're feeling though! I'm now 40w and went for a swim on the weekend, doing yoga daily, cafe and groceries today, etc but it's making me feel good keeping things normal-ish

Agreed no point just waiting around and my 3 yo is keeping me on my toes! Hate the waiting game
