Urine test results?
37 weeks pregnant and for the second time in as many weeks my midwife asked if there was any signs of urine infection and sent sample away. Nobody contacted me about my results even though it states 'abnormal - contact patient' so none of this has been explained to me and I'm stressing after goggling that it's an infection that I've possibly had for weeks that nobody has told me about. Just worried for my baby 😭
Anyone know what any of this means please?

Nobody bothered contacting me about my results either. I stressed a little but then figured it wasn't worrying enough for anyone on their end to bother.
Epithelial.cells means there was cells from exterior in your urine so the sample was contaminated. They need you to do a 'clean catch' sample meaning you wipe down. Start peeing.... Then catch a mid stream sample....
Basically the outside bacteria has gotten into your urine. We all have bacteria in our vaginas good and bad it’s what we need to stay healthy and it’s what happens when we sweat etc, they saying some outside juices got mixed with the inside juices 😂😂
