I’m so tired.

I’ve been a SAHM since November 2023. No friends, no family, no hobbies … just baby and cleaning the house. I feel like I’m about to lose my mind. I hate this… some days I catch myself wishing I had another life. Everything is so depressing. I want to believe there’s a light at the end of the tunnel, but that seems like a silly fairytale.. lying to myself.

Have you tried a local moms group?

I know how you feel. I've tried different mom groups and still haven't made any friends. My mom passed 6 months ago. I have other family but they're not involved. Message me if you would like. No one told me how lonely motherhood could be.

In so sorry you feel like this .. I can relate. I've been a SAHM for 3 years and it's so hard most days. Talking to other moms who can relate helps a lot! I don't have many friends here and no family. Feel free to message me

@Jennifer I’ve joined a few local but nothing so far has come out of it. I’m going to keep trying!

I’m a working mom but I work from home so I struggle with making friends as well. If you ever want to meet up send me a message!

I understand. Lots of us relate, friend. Its like a whooole journey this motherhood 😮‍💨 I have an almost 5yr old & an 18mo old. Though I do have family and relatives/ church. For me being a sahm this WHOLE TIME has killed me in the “feeling useless” realm like I have nothing else that defines me other than cleaning and wiping 😂🥴 And hands down its only been Jesus that has got me through. With strength, with identity. With love. But being out of work for all this time has really taken a toll on me and recently I jumped into a little “side hustle” and the community of other mamas, the encouragement, the building eachother up PLUS the challenge and sense of being worth something again & working toward something has been a GAME CHANGER. Seriously having something / somewhere else to put your mind to has really helped not only emotionally but strength wise/ has grown me so much. Sorry, I know i wrote a lot but you can imagine this chatty mama feeling in a corner so long lol

Here for you girl 🫶 and anyone else! Hop in my dms

I've been a SAHM since my daughter was 3 and she is now going on 9. The journey is definitely a struggle and finding friends is just as hard. But I myself found a hobby 3 years into the journey. I've always loved drawing, painting, coloring. So I dug more into the art community. Now I own an online crafting business. But still no ip friends lol.

@Sonya thank you for your message! How did you get into side hustle/ what do you do (if you don’t mind me asking)?

@Taylor thank you! Your message resonates with me and i appreciate all the good vibes thrown my way :) Therapy is something im still working on/ trying to get myself into.

@Jasmine how did you dig more into the art scene? I myself do henna but have zero clue on how to find my place. I appreciate all and any tips on starting something lucrative. You’re an inspiration 💞

Pinterest, honestly. I use it a lot. I searched "what can I sell to make money from home crafting". And I chose crafting because I loved creating things from cardboard. One of the things that came up was crafting resin items. Now I'm creating merch for small businesses and people, customizing shoes, and started a second business with my husband. Albeit I started my business in 2020 and I'm just now gaining more customers. And I already had my graphic design degree, so creating digital images or altering them was easy for me. But Word of Mouth is a big help. Before I would just make stuff for myself or birthday gifts for friends and family. I mean I still do that because creating gifted items is basically what I do 😂. But I get paid projects now too.

Definitely believe God brought it up! But i joined a girlfriend of mine! 💓 Saw her glowing emotionally / mentally and the business opportunity had great bonuses & was like okay i need that! 🥹 lemme try it. And the rest was history!

The library system is my bread and butter!!
