is it too soon to include my LO in my hobbies?
Me and my husband love to fish and kayak on the lake. My LO is currently 8mths. I want to include my son in our hobbies bc right now we just been leaving him with my sister in law. Also we snowboard but by then he’ll be 1.

Yess! Me & my husband have the same hobbies. I’ve been wanting to go kayaking but places don’t allow children under 3.. so we held off😫
We took our kiddos out on nice days for fishing they were 5-6mnths when warmer fishing season hit (june/july) for awhile they more or less just sat in our lap or in the carrier on one of us. Also, I took the outdoor play pen and set it up beside us so they could watch and play. They loved holding the worms and playing in the cup of dirt (still do lol) kayak I would think should be fine I would personally do a few baby swim lessons and get a good vest for him but don't see why you couldn't take him on a calm lake, pond ect
