We were warned about it with our baby who came home from the NICU with a nebulizer. We were told to wipe his mouth out with a wet towel after each use of the nebulizer. Not sure if your baby has something like that that could have caused it. Our pediatrician also said for oral care in general we could wipe his gums 1 or 2 times a day with a warm wet rag too. That could help =] idk though for sure haha 😆
Are you breast feeding or bottle feeding
@Keona we are bottle feeding
@Madi my baby just got over thrush too just make sure everything is clean before each use, wipe her mouth out with a towel like katie suggested and the medicine dropper clean after each use before putting it back in the container
Making sure you clean baby’s mouth! You can get a little finger toothbrush or a regular training toothbrush and use either water or training toothpaste. They also make wipes specifically for cleaning little babies gums. I brush my baby’s “teeth” every night before bed.
My midwife said it comes from eating too much sugar and carbs
