Poo question -

Sorry for the TMI. Does anyone have experience with ‘teething poo’s’ and what they’re like. I’m a bit worried about my babies poo (8.5 months) I’ve attached a picture so sorry for the graphics. Would you go to the GP? Thank you for any advice x

Is it the consistency you’re worried about or the colour? My little boy is 6 months and he sometimes has had poo like that (consistently) and we’ve just started weaning and it’s quite pasty like that but obviously the colours will Be different because he’s only on formula xx

It’s the colour mainly, I mean it’s quite clay like as well so I’m just worried 😂 yeah I’m weaning her but it’s been like this for about 5 days now. And she’s teething for sure as she’s upset etc. I don’t know if I’m being ridiculous worrying about it but it’s just an odd colour for her 😂

It’s so difficult with their poo because with my little boy it can literally be green/mucusy/watery and like you said like clay! I generally just keep an eye on it but I did mention to the dr when it was mucusy for about two weeks. They always just say as long as baby is having wet nappies/acting like their usual self they tend to not worry however it won’t hurt to contact the gp you know your baby best and if it’s unusual for her to have that colour just contact them even if it’s for a piece of mind xx

Thank you😘 yeah I’m gonna just go and get her checked for peace of mind. Thank you for your advise xx
