@Abbie yeah I see that most people feel ready for their baby to come now! I know some people would rather their baby get into school asap also because it’s free childcare 😆 Hope everything goes ok with your c-section ☺️
I just would like my youngest 2 only 2 school years apart not 3. That’s literally it 😂 but my first was a September baby and definitely had an advantage when she started school. Thanks love, hope your little one stays put for a few more weeks! X
@Jodie as I keep getting told by my in-laws who are both teachers “keep my legs crossed till September”. Not a helpful comment when I’m due early September so it could be an August baby 🙈 the pressure is real lol
Im the same lol. I’m due 1st September and have thought the whole way through I hope he stays in till September, I’d rather he was the oldest in the school year and I want that extra year with him lol. I haven’t help back on the tea or colostrum harvesting though. I lost my plug at 35+5 and nothing happened. Had my 38 week apt today and baby is 2/5 engaged but I don’t feel like he will come early
God yeah. I’m 37+2 days and I’m in pain lol with my down there and high belly pains haha my little one is due on the 6th sep x
I think there’s a new thing where if your child is born late august you can delay them starting school till they’re a year older so then they’ll be the oldest in the year but born in august instead of the youngest
My baby isn’t due until mid September but he’ll be an August baby due to small size! You can apply to your local council for them to be enrolled based on due date rather than birth date :) don’t think it’s a guarantee they’ll accept but may put your mind at ease a little!
I’m a teacher so I’m 100% with you. My first baby came at 35 weeks too so I’m hoping this one holds on a little longer! Good luck! X
i was just talking to my partner about this! i have 4 family members birthdays in the last week of August and only his niece in mid September. as much as i am getting done with being pregnant, it would definitely be nice to have them be a September baby
Yes!! I’m 37 weeks tomorrow and keep saying she can come anytime after the 1st September
Lol, if my baby comes in August, my two children will literally be in the same school year 🤣🙈
@Krissy I keep getting this comment too! Drives me insane. I’m due the 3rd of Sept and have a section booked for 28th Aug so looks like she will be a August baby but not sure why people feel the need to comment 😒
I’m due the 7th but my first was born at 37 weeks. I’m 37+2 now , I’ve always thought she’d come in August so I don’t really mind either way. She’d be the school year below my son if she’s August which will be nice !
@Ria if it makes you feel any better my youngest niece was a late August baby. She is small but mighty and when she goes to school she’ll be so ready😃. But yes the comments are the worst because you literally can’t do anything about it. It’s so rude and it all depends on the child at the end of the day.Xx

Mines due 29/08 but my other babies were atleast a week late with my first being 2 weeks late. So I’m pretty sure this is going to be a September baby…just hopefully not the 1st because that’s my bday! 😂
I believe there is a small allowance and you can choose what year they go into! I’m die 2nd sep and that’s what I’m led to believe xx
My baby came at 37 weeks 2 days on Saturday. Was meant to be Sept 5th baby. She came when she wanted and I couldn't be happier! As a teacher at least I'm off for her birthday now every year minus the first days back at school!
I’ve never even thought of it this way, what’s wrong with them being younger in class? Genuinely curious 👀
Yes! Due on Sept 1st and would love to have a Sept baby x
@Winter the older babies have an advantage in that they have been here longer so they are more likely to have better academic skills and social skills. There have been studies done on the younger babies in schools and they are more likely to develop low self esteem because they feel behind. This was the case for me which is why I’m feeling more sensitive to it but it definitely isn’t always the case
Ok thanks girls it seems there are definitely a few of us hoping to have a September baby. I hope everyone gets the birth dates they want! 🤞
With regards to the raspberry tea, please when can I start taking it? And do you have any idea what brand and where h can buy it from?
I actually would prefer the opposite 😂 but my section is booked for early September
