Maternity leave

Hi I’m a chronic migraine girly I suffer from vestibular migraines daily and take propanolol. I work part time and I’m due back to work next week I have a 7 month old and a 7 year old. My 7 month old still doesn’t sleep through the night so I barely get any sleep. Towards the end of my pregnancy at work my migraines really took a toll and I was seriously unwell. Any advice on how to cope with anxiety of this. My migraines trigger health anxiety and I have found myself almost having panic attacks about going back to work (LOVE MY JOB) I know I’ll be fine but I seriously need to hear some positive advice even if it’s something little. A sleeping hack ? A migraine relief? A tip to get them up and out of bed quicker ? Any quick and easy meal plans for when I get home ? A magic trick or spell perhaps 😂

Show your support

Whilst I have limited experience of migraines, I wonder if a fit note from your GP might help you. The doctor could suggest certain adjustments that will support your health which any employer would be foolish not to follow. What could your employer do to support you to have a healthy and positive return? Have a think and go from there. Sending you lots of good wishes.
