Our little one has! If you use your mouth and say Oooo and then Ahhh(exaggerate your smile with ahhhh) your baby should copy you and smile, it takes a good few tries xxx
I somehow caught her first proper smile on camera 😂 she had been trying from 4 weeks and finally got it 5 weeks. But smiles can happen between 4-8 weeks !
Still waiting at nearly 7 weeks. He’s trying I can see it in his expressions and he has tiny little ones. He smiles all the time in his sleep it’s the cutest but hasn’t properly social smiled yet. I can’t wait to see it properly 🥰

@vikki social smiles are when they do it in response to seeing you or you speaking to them. Not when it is random or in their sleep.
Mine did some smiles and giggles at 7 weeks but he hasn’t done it since 😩🤣 (now 8 weeks) - he was born at 37 weeks so I don’t know if that means he might smile a bit later🤔
@Cass mine was also 37 weeks, so thinking that might be why we are waiting too!
Lyra has started smiling sometimes usually when I go to pick her up out of her next to me in the morning, like she’s happy to be coming out 🥹 she is 6 weeks and 3 days.

Parker is 6 weeks old, his favourite thing to do is smile and laugh🩵

Omg same 7 weeks today and I haven’t seen much. I thought I saw her smile 2 days ago whilst I was changing her but she hasn’t done it since so now I don’t know if I imagined it 😂 I pull a lot of faces at her and she just looks at me like ‘ what are you doing’ 😂

Yes first smile was around 6 weeks and she does them daily. Melts my heart ♥️
