Another baby or not

I now have a 8 week old too🤷‍♀️😂🥰

I already have a 7 year old aswell as my 13m old it wasn't meant to be a 6 year gap but it took us nearly 4 years to conceive the 2nd time around. My other half is done but I still want one more 😩

My next one is due in 5 weeks x

I know I want another one and seeing other mums pregnant or having their second makes me want one even more but I also really want to full enjoy my firstborn and give him my undivided attention for a bit longer so we’re planning to start trying for a second in the new year

@Ella this is what I’m worried about my baby took 2 years to concieve too as my cycles are irregular so I’m worried if I leave it late then it won’t happen for me for a long time😫x

@Sophie this is my fear too, i just can’t imagine splitting my attention with another child too as he deserves it all x

7 weeks until #2 makes an appearance…wasn’t the plan but after years of IVF for #1 conceiving naturally 6 months after his birth was meant to be. I wanted to give him one on one time for a couple of years but he’s never going to remember any different and hopefully they’ll love growing up together 🤞🏼

My cycles are mega irregular as well I literally had to use the annoyingly expensive clear blue ovulation tests every other day to track my ovulation (and even that wasn’t 100% accurate as I was apparently already pregnant two days before it told me I was ovulating 😅) but I stressed myself out about how long it was gonna take to conceive baby number 2 so decided to try sooner rather than later and luckily it happened straight away. My son loves other children, I’m a SAHM but we’re still putting him in nursery for a day because he has always loved other kids and always try’s to interact with them so I’ve never worried about him not getting my full attention when baby 2 comes as I feel like he will love having a little play mate at home more x

I have a 13 months old and agreed with my husband we would start trying around the end of the year, considering that if I'm lucky to get pregnant soon, the baby will be here when the other one is 2 years old, which we guess is the right gap. I presume you need to have peace of mind before trying, as the mind plays a big role while trying to conceive, and this uncertainty may not help. :)

7 year old girl and 13 month old boy and we both adamant we are done. I'm nearly 38 and he just turned 40 don't think we have the newborn phase in us again lol x

I have a 13 month old and currently 32 weeks pregnant. Although wasn't planned and just like you when i first found out i thought it was too soon. But im so excited now and cant wait for them to grow up together!🥰

I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant, I think there’s pros and cons for a big age gap or a small age gap. Pregnancy this time is harder- chasing a toddler is hard work, you don’t get to just rest and relax but equally she will never know what it’s like to be an only child and won’t miss it or feel left out where as if you have a bigger age gap it can be a hard adjustment for older kids x

I fell pregnant when my first was 15 months! I now have a 2 year old and an 8 week old! I love it so far! Of course there is moments or carnage but overall it’s been lovely and I’m so excited to watch them grow up together! Pregnancy was tough at points as I felt guilty towards my toddler for not being as available etc but that’s all a distant memory now 🥰 Xx

I have a 3 year old (4 in December), 13 month old and now 9ish weeks pregnant. We always planned on having a third but with a similar gap to our first two, now the shock has kind of subsided we’re excited as our first two already play together so well and it’s lovely watching them together, so I’m sure it’ll be even better adding another x

I am exactly in the same situation, I feel my baby is still small and want to enjoy this moment but I am also getting older and can’t afford to wait for a couple of years. I also have some issue with my hip and wish to fully recover before another pregnancy which surely will put some strain on it.

I’m waiting till end of year too. So that will make my little baby 2 or 2.5 around the time no2 is due if I get preggo at the right time

@Yaren yeah, I thought the same and assuming I get pregnant first try, lol when my baby took us a few months and miscarriages. I hope it is easier next time 🙏🏻
