Is it my eyes or is progression good?

I’ll post pictures of my test in comments. I got my first faint positive on Sunday 18th, on Tuesday 20th it seemed to get darker but Thursday 22nd was the same as 20th. So I took another test this morning and now I’m worried it’s a chemical even though my periods a week late. I’m under the impression test line needs to become as dark as control line. The rest line doesn’t turn positive straight away either, it takes a minute before turning pink.
