@Julia thank you so much I needed to hear this actually. Because I am constantly on edge worrying about the flight/journey! Thanks for the advice and tip xx
I traveled to Japan at 14 weeks and Mexico at 23 weeks both super long flights and went great! My midwife advised to wear compression socks for any flight, so I did but just have a great time you deserve some time off before baby!!! Also check how the country sees pregnant women for instance Japan sees it as a protective trait so pretty much allowed me to cut through for everything while Mexico didn’t, may make travel slightly easier at like boarder control etc
I just got back from Greece and I’m 23 weeks. Really enjoyed the break but did a few things to ease my anxiety/ make myself a bit more comfortable. *Called my travel insurance provider to clarify what would be covered if I needed to use it. *Informed my midwife, and had a list of numbers on hand (just in case)! *Booked an aisle seat on the flight so I could get up and walk around every hour. I don’t know if you’re the same, but I get uncomfortable sitting still for long periods of time, so this really helped. *Drank lots of water on the plane, and in general. *Wore flight socks. *Wore factor 50. Definitely was more sensitive to the sun and burned a lot easier than I usually do! *Spent a lot of time outside, but more sheltered from the sun this year. *Asked the hotel for extra pillows because I didn’t take my pregnancy pillow. Hope these tips are helpful ☺️ enjoy yourself ☀️🥰
Everything rebecca said plus you may need fit to fly certificate as even though you're only 22 weeks, I expect you look more advanced with the twins Also think about the heat and whether you want a portable fan
You’ll love it! Get in the pool and prepare for bliss 😊 the weightlessness is lovely on your hips
I went on my baby moon at 24 weeks I believe! Id say try not to stress about the flight / travel, have a great time, and don't forget sunscreen because our skin is more sensitive now 😅
