I had the letter through a few days after my 8 week booking appointment, it was all quite quick!
Mine took 8 days after midwife appt but I had to be transferred from Cwm Taff board, at which point I was 11w 4 days.
First appointment was on the 21st and my letter came on 24th

Yeah it did take me a while. My midwife gave me this number too for the Antenatal clinic to chase appointment. Could be worth a try. 02921842288

I always found the number useless too! They hardly ever answer the phone. Hope you manage to get hold of someone!
@Rebecca I didn’t and I’m now on holiday for a week! I’ll be 11 and a half weeks when I get back so just hoping the letter turns up by then 🤞🏼
