Announcing pregnancy at work

I’m the same, my manager knows but I feel a bit awkward announcing it haha 🤣. It’s a fairly big department so I feel if people don’t know they wooo start to look and and talk like is she isn’t she when my bump starts to grow which makes me feel self conscious so I would rather everyone know before they point but how I don’t know and I’m not announcing on social media I’m not massive on it x

@Lisa omg same gurl! lol thats whats literally going through my mind haha. I wanna start wearing cute dresses to work and not be afraid of my bump showing 😂 and ppl thinking i have become fat or smthing. at the moment i’m wear loose clothing.

I told the person who i knew would tell others that way i didn't have to tell everyone myself. Things get around pretty quick that way 😅

I'm definitely not announcing it they'll soon find out as the bump will speak for itself 🤣 people I care for already know anyways and I officially told my manager several weeks ago, all that matters 🤗 if you think it doesn't feel right, you really don't have to ☺️

I just posted it in our work team WhatsApp group just saying ‘just wanted to share the news with you all that I’m expecting, due in January’ or something along those lines 😄 but I’m also not shy and very outgoing at work lol😂

I put it on the team slack chat (basically equivalent teams).
