Normal 2 Year old tantrum

What is considered normal for a 2 year old tantrum? I’m seeing online it should only be 15 mins, not every day/multiple times a day and not violent. My 2 year old has been screaming so high pitch he’s red in the face for almost 20 minutes (I’m actually concerned if he will lose his voice) and when he’s like this he starts hitting kicking pulling hair grabbing peoples faces. It’s completely out of control. Definitely almost daily and on bad days multiple times a day (we are on tantrum 2 in 3 hours) He doesn’t have any screentime and we don’t give him sugar.

Is he hungry or needing a nap? That's always the first question I ask myself when my 2 year old falls apart.

My partners boy has meltdowns, usually due to sensory overloads but it’s hard to tell sometimes. He usually screams for 45 mins whether he’s hungry or not, thirsty or not, getting attention to calm him down or not. Always 45 minutes. He screams so much he often causes a nosebleed. I completely understand how you’re feeling😫 We don’t call them tantrums, we call them meltdowns☹️
