Help TTC pregnancy

Hi sorry this is really long but I am TTC and I just missed my period I'm trying not to sike myself out and be crazy and convince myself I'm pregnant so I need help. Sadly my boyfriend was away when my app says I ovulated but we did the deed twice a day everyday between the 20th through 31st of august but my app says I ovulated on the 17th. I saw my doctor on the 30th of July and he said I'd ovulate soon I took a test on the 7th, 9th and 17th all faint positive. I am now 10 days past my missed period and just took a pregnancy test and tested negative. I'm trying to convince myself I'm just too early to test is that true or am I being crazy and it really is negative. I'm new to tracking everything like ovulation (like 3 months) so I'm still entirely confused. Also if it helps my periods were pretty regular up until June when I had two periods the 14th-16th then 28th-30th. Then nothing in July and now August my doctor did tell me in July though that I would ovulate soon so shouldn't that mean I should have had a period?
