Crunchy girls!

What deodorant?? I’ve tried Native, Arm&Hammer, Toms they don’t work and ingredients aren’t ideal. I tried Lume, that was better…but postpartum I feel like I can smell my armpits for the first time in my life and it’s driving me insane. What is actually safe and natural and works?! 😩😩

I love Primally pure

I use Crystal deodorant. I don’t think the brand matters, the one I have just says Crystal

i like humble

Okay so I’ll have to start trying these!

Lume was okay for me, but I really like Pretty Frank. It doesn’t get rid of the postpartum armpit stink completely, but it’s good enough.

I love this stuff!! Been using it pregnant and postpartum now and it’s still going strong! ❤️

Fatskn Mag deo or any sort of magnesium lotion, BO can be a sign of magnesium deficiency which is all the more likely postpartum as pregnancy and birth can use up a ton of your mineral stores

Avatar

Oh I didn’t know that! And you know what, I was regularly taking magnesium until I had the baby and I ran out and totally forgot about it until you just mentioned it!

Avatar

I use hello! It's the only natural brand that works for me so far!

Avatar

Humble is great!

They have sensitive versions and CBD infused too

Try isopropyl alcohol. It'll kill the stench.

So u do smell then after having a baby ur armpits will sweat more to help baby find ur breast I freaked out in the hospital cause I cause smell my armpits and my mom was like nah ur good 😂😂 but I personally use the hello charcoal deodorant and it works wonders as well as being slightly on the cheaper side (the charcoal detox’s ur pores so that as u do sweat ur sweat won’t smell- meaning like use it a day or 2 and if u forget once I’ll be fine cause ur sweat won’t smell 🤷‍♀️ that one I can’t explain) but it’s awesome cause I don’t forget often bite when I do ud never know

Avatar

which one do u use?? If u look below I like the charcoal one lol

Avatar

girl!! Try hello! If it’s not at Walmart or ur big grocery store check CVS less than $10 lasts me at least 2 months!

Avatar

that actually isn’t too bad a price!! How long does it last u?

Avatar

I’ve been using the same stick daily for 4 months now :)

Avatar

mine is currently the fresh citrus one but before that I used the sweet coconut and liked it too. I normally switch my fragrance to match the seasons 😆

Avatar

Humble, Buddha butter, coconut oil are all amazing!

Avatar

I really like HappyBaby deodorant it is clean and EWG verified- and it works!

Avatar

I heard about this but thought with shaving it would burn! Have you had any issues? Or do you dilute it?

Avatar

it sounds crazy but just try it. It works!

Avatar

Have you tried re applying a couple times through the day ? That’s what I have to do with more natural deodorants or make my own

Avatar

So I tried the Hello one now just because I didn’t have time to go to Whole Foods and find better brands, and it’s actually working very well! I guess my body was just not about the Native brand at all lol.

But I’m going to try most of your recommendations as I swap them out !

Avatar

Have you tried tallow deodorant? My MIL recommended it to me! Can also be easily homemade

Avatar

yesssss the charcoal hello deodorant is amazing ngl since having my baby I smell worse and stronger than ever this is the one thing that helps and I don’t have re apply!! It’ll last all day sometimes 2 and once I use it all summer going into fall and winter I don’t need it (usually haven’t tried since I had a baby) but the charcoal kills the bacteria in ur armpits that make ur sweat stink so after so long of using u don’t even need it EVERY DAY I literally put it once ever day or 2 when it’s hot and only if Ik ima be sweating or if I feel like I’m starting to stink again in the colder months

Lavida health Roll on!!!! It’s so good!

Peace of mind please

I shot up at 4am last night and had the urge to check my little boy who sleeps in a cot next to our bed.
For the first time he has rolled over and was sleeping on his stomach, my heart dropped.
I was so scared that I picked him up to make sure he was okay and he was just sound asleep…

What are we supposed to do if they roll over in their sleep?! He’s almost 6 months old and I’m prettified of him rolling and it being a different outcome if I don’t wake up..

Just need some peace of mind that this is
okay?

6m old not sleeping

My 6m old won’t sleep. He goes bed at 8/8.30. He’ll sleep until 3am and then he just wakes up like he’s ready for the day.
He’s not hungry, cold, too hot, not teething ect but it’s been going on for about a week. He then won’t go back to sleep until 5ish then he wakes every single morning at 7 on the dot. I’m exhausted. Anyone got any tips on helping this because he’s then so mardy throughout the day due to lack of sleep.

Moving 18 week old to her own room

Just looking for some advice really. I know at this age (18 weeks) she will most likely be going through sleep regression BUT I have been thinking for a while now about the time to put her in her own cot.. she’s in a next to me one at the moment and is constantly hitting the sides with her feet and she’s waking up so so much! Has any other mums moved their babies to their own room?

We have the owlet sock and camera so of course would keep an eye on her and I’m planning on sleeping in the room with her to begin with just to see if she sleeps any better. I know it’s advised 6 months due to SIDS but feel as though we would all get better sleep

I don’t really know what to do as me and my partner are EXHAUSTED

P.s she does nap through the day really well in her own bed so she is used to it

How are you BOTH getting sleep with a newborn?! 😴

Hey mamas 🤍

Looking for any advice or tips on how to protect a few hours of sleep for both me and my partner 🙏

We have a 5-week-old who usually wakes around 12/1/2am (depending on bedtime), and then again around 3/4/5am. My partner works from 7am to 5pm usually, so evenings can feel a bit full-on, and nights are quite broken at the moment (which I understand is quite normal!).

We’re combi feeding, as in the baby has expressed breast milk during the day, and we switch to formula overnight.

Would love to hear what’s worked for you from shifts, routines, anything that helped you both get a bit more rest 💭✨

Colic Baby

Anyone else have a colic baby? If so how do you cope with it and get your sleep in? I’ve tried everything under the sun, on top of this he’s cluster feeding like hell.
