@Andrayah omg RIP your sleep! And they wake up wanting to immediately play hahaha
@Kelsey Haha . tell me about it girl
Yeah, don't lock him in his room. That is really cruel if he plays independently on his own in his room with you there can't you just lay on his bed or have some chill time on the sofa while he plays atleast if he doesn't nap he goes to bed early so you still get time to yourself, he will be in nursery soon enough just enjoy the time you have with him
@Becky Nobody is locking him in his room…I literally said that is cruel. The point is that he needs to learn to have a set independent play time if he isn’t going to nap so everyone can get a break/I can’t get other things done. If I’m in the room with him it’s not independent play because he will want me to play with him. Quiet time is really important for kids when they transition out of a nap. We still do most days with a nap but not every day.
My toddler naps around 12 noon and for 1hr and she still be up all night she's been up since 3am and it's 5am smh
