I was 23 weeks when going on holiday and already felt uncomfortable being sat down for too long. At least once an hour would try to walk around the plane and pack snacks! x

I went around 30 weeks with my first pregnancy and the flight was absolutely fine . Just make sure you get the doctors note saying you’re fine to travel because some countries can be extra about that . Also take your mat notes too just Incase . Have fun 💕💕💕

I’m flying as well on Sunday aboard but currently on 24 weeks. Looking forward to hear some feedback on flying while pregnant 😀

Thank you, I’m going to Malaga so think it’s just over 2 hours so hopefully it will fly by! (Literally haha) it’s a well needed break but panicking over the flight, did you wear the tight socks? Xx

@Tracy fab thanks Trac, well deserved break away! Il phone the docs in the morning, thank you xx

Currently on holiday at 27 weeks flight out was absolutely fine :) I didn’t wear compression socks but you could if you wanted to. I’d take a fit to fit note if you can as although my airline didn’t need one until 28 weeks, they still wanted to see one. Also good to check your insurance covers all you need (energency maternity care, repatriation etc) and that they know you’re pregnant. Enjoy your holiday!

@Jess which airline was this if you don't mind me asking? X

I’m going to Mexico on the 5th October for 2 weeks and will be flying home at 33 weeks 😅 we booked the holiday before I got pregnant so I’m dreading the 10 hour flight 😩

I went 26 weeks and came back 27 weeks. It was fine. Like I mean sitting in one position wasn’t that fun it was doable x

@Lucy yeah course! That was Ryanair, apparently they’re the airline that tend to be more hot on it!

It can be a bit of a nightmare getting the fit to fly note (my consultant did mine) as a lot of GP’s won’t do them now and midwife’s are also apparently not meant to (so stupid!!). You can get one done online for a fee if you get stuck! X

I flew out to Ibiza yesterday (currently 26 weeks) and will be 27 weeks flying back! I felt a bit uncomfortable with my lower back but just kept getting up when I could and wore compressions socks to be safe. My midwife saw me on Monday to give me a note confirming I’m a low risk pregnancy, my EDD and how many weeks I am - it seemed to be a template they had. Tui asked me at the gate how far along I was but didn’t ask to see anything. My midwife did say the matter needed to be dated within a week of going so they should be able to do it fairly last minute for you and her advice was just to drink lots of water :) insurance wise I just took out the usual ones I do but checked the policy document they they didn’t exclusive pregnancy related so I’ve gone on the assumption anything urgent would be covered by emergency medical treatment - my understanding is that they only need to know you are pregnant if you are high risk, otherwise they should still cover you fine x

Currently on holiday 24 weeks when I flew out 25 weeks coming back I was ok just needed to pee more and had numb bum. The only think I’d say is I’ve massively struggled with the humidity here in Greece more than I normally would. I tire easily, you can’t sunbathe or do much of anything really xx

Who are u flying with and will you need a fit to fly note I also going on holiday to Spain on 25th September, il be 26 weeks + 4 days
