Also I think Isley Elizabeth is very pretty.
Agree with Katrina! It’s a beautiful name for a baby girl 💕
It’s a beautiful name. You can use the name Eiley instead of Isley if you want something similar
All that matters is that you and your partner love it. Plus, it really is a beautiful name 💕
We had that issue and we let it go pretty quickly. The name fits and now we celebrate the good memories of his namesake
I feel like the good outweighs the bad, and any issues won't be issues long. I really appreciate all of you and the wonderful advice. I decided to just wait except a few close friends.
That is such a beautiful name! 💕 I agree with a few other’s that waiting to announce the name until after she’s born is probably best! This is your creation and you’re more than happy with the name. Bonus points - your partner is too! Please don’t let people who aren’t involved make a negative impact. 🥹
Love the name! 😍
The name is beautiful. Stick with it and don’t talk about the baby’s name with anybody. Be careful mentioning it to friends too as they might steal the name!
How cute !!! I love this 🥰 I just talked to my mother today and her middle name is Elizabeth and told her our final pick of the name We are having a girl and we are naming her Iris Elizabeth
Honor the good. Unless you have a family name of Hitler, they will get over it. The name and intention is beautiful.
i think a better way to look at the name as not a reminder of a not very good person to think of it as a fresh start for a beautiful name. i love the name and all that matters is that you do too💟
I really like it! ☺️
Yes I think it’s a lovely name too! And once they see the baby girl, her name will be the last thing on their mind

I think it’s so bizarre for people to have opinions about the name of a child that isn’t theirs… please don’t feel bad about it. You named your baby from a special place with a specific reason. You’re only using the last name which is far greater than one bad person in the lineage (your moms bio dad)
I would just wait, people tend to be a lot more opinionated about names before it's on the birth certificate. I didn't announce my seconds name until he was born because I didn't want anyone to try to talk me out of it.
