Nap help
I’m struggling
My 21 month old will not nap without me.
He sleeps independently but nap time a good break away is 20 mins. Then he cries for me I put him back to sleep.
He likes to nap for about 3 hours. I get nothing done and don’t know what to do. I literally want to cry.
Every single day. And yes nap and bedtime routine is identical

@Dianna I can but then it’s like I get 10-20 mins and then he wakes up looking for me. Then I go up and he’s instantly asleep. He used to nap independently really well but I went back to work (and decided to leave work and stay home about 4.5 months ago). Since I’ve come home from work he has not like napping by himself. But he sleeps at night perfectly. Which everyone has told me normally night time is the struggle

Oh I’m happy laying with my kid until he falls asleep but it’s the 3 hours I’m staying with him I don’t want to do anymore. It’s been almost 2 years of it and while I love it I’m overwhelmed and overworked with staying up h too midnight just catching up on basic things like dishes I can’t slowly tidy up at naptime
