We are going to riverside hub for his actual birthday but doing him a party with a bouncy castle the weekend after! Just have no clue what to get him present wise 🙈 He already has a bank account for when he’s older, I do it with my daughter too what ever money they get we put it straight in there bank which they are allowed access to when they are 18!
I don't think there'd be any difference in what I'd buy for a one year old boy or girl tbh. I'm sure anything you think they'll enjoy will be fine! At one we got a play kitchen and a learning tower. Both are still being used everyday at over four years old and our youngest enjoys them too.
We are getting a Yoto Player and a few smaller toys like a shape shorter and some wooden puzzles
I'm making my son a themed busy board, but you can definitely buy loads of fun ones online!
I wasn't great at buying my eldest daughters 1st birthday gifts😅 I got my youngest her first dinnerset (plate, bowl, fork & spoon) with some bibs to go with it. Clothes, pj's & a doll with a pushchair (aged 9months +) a big care bear & ball that was a bargain from Aldi. That's sufficient from my husband & my eldest.
We've bought a mega blocks table and blocks and a toot toot garage with some cars for our LB. Also got some wooden puzzles, books, shape sorter. We may also get a swing and slide set but not sure if it'll be too cold by then, despite his love of being outside! For Christmas we're getting him a tool/work station too x
We got a Tonie box, some puzzles and a climbing arch! I bought them through the year so it wasn’t too expensive.
Some toys snd I’m also thinking of getting some soft play blocks because my LG loves to climb
We bought our daughter a tonies box as she loves music & stories, a few books and a little wooden car ramp with matching race cars x
Im struggling what to get aswell! Ive decided a day out to the zoo and tuck some money aside for when hes older!
