Universal credit when SMP ended
Would anyone know if I can apply for universal credit to help me out for the next 3 months before I go back to work? I no longer receive SMP.

They did try and say I couldn’t have anything when I got my statement so I called up and explained to them that my SMP had finished (I did update my journal when my SMP finished but I don’t know what happened) and when I spoke to the woman she told me what to do and soon after I had an updated statement with how much I would be getting
Yeah you can apply. I applied as soon as mine ended and got it the month after so I had to go a few weeks with nothing (my partner helped me out though)
