How long do pregnancy hormones stay?

It’s different for everyone and hope far along were you. I tested positive for month and a half after the miscarriage. Some people get a negative after 2 weeks or even sooner. Do a bloodwork and test again two days later to see if the HCG is going up.

@Boryana I was 17 weeks, did your tests get darker then lighter again in the 1½months after?

I was still testing positive weeks after miscarriage

It was getting progressively lighter but keep in mind from test to test there could be a slight difference in the color even if it’s the same brand/kind. I also did bloodwork tests every 2 days after a month. I would test again in 2 days.

Also for 17weeks it will take you a while to test negative as your hormones were high. I was just 8 weeks.

It took me 5-6 weeks to fully test negative

@Shay my body birthed them after being induced in hospital but then went to theatre to have placenta removed and be cleaned out does that count?

Yes this counts. I would honestly call your OB though and have an ultrasound done to make sure they got all of the placenta. This could be producing HcG and can cause infection if there is some left over that they missed. Either or if you are pregnant or not you'll get your answer with the ultrasound 🩷
