Forgetting to practice self-care: Set a Self-Care Alarm! ⏰💖

Are you one of those people who sometimes forget to take a moment for self-care? You're not alone! When life gets busy, it’s easy to overlook self-care. One simple trick I’ve found to stay on track is setting an alarm on my phone. 📱⏰ I use the built-in alarm app on my Android to remind myself to check in on how hydrated I am and to play the self-care game on the Happy Mindset app (learn more at www.happymindset.app). 🎮💖 When either of my two alarms goes off, it's a gentle nudge to prioritize my well-being. Both of my alarm activities are super quick, so I can fit them in even when I’m busy. If I’m in a situation where it’s not safe (like driving) when the alarm goes off, I just snooze the alarm or use it as a reminder to do the activity as soon as possible. I'm so glad I have them! If you're looking to sneak a little self-care into your day, an alarm might be just what you need! 🌼💪 If this sounds helpful, try setting an alarm for your favorite self-care activity! Let me know how it goes! 💬💕

I definitely love this idea but am wondering what things could be useful for me that ideally would be quick with no hassle. I hope I find some self care activities that would be suitable to my schedule. Any ideas from yourself?

@Nikki thanks for the reply and that you like the idea! 🎉 Some fast things that you can do for self-care (no matter where you are) include: - Gratitude -- listing things that you are grateful for and things that have gone well so far in the day - Mindfulness -- noticing your surroundings with your senses - Deep Breathing - Hydration - Stretching - Noticing and releasing tension in your body There are more options, but those are accessible to everyone practically anywhere. If you want specific prompts you can try the self-care digital card game I created. You can try it for free here: https://app.happymindset.app/demo/card

Such a helpful, practical tip 🎉
