Any mum need to take aspirin during second pregnancy? As i don't need to take when my first one was born, and my blood pressure is low normally 🧐 Placental Function Assessment In addition to routine care as per: NICE guidance, midwife will discuss the option of taking aspirin to lower chance of pre-eclampsia

I did, I actually did in both pregnancies. So there's many reasons they recommend aspirin, age, BMI, any previous pregnancy complications etc. Mine was for my BMI in the first pregnancy (but I got pre-eclampsia anyway) and the second time it was because of my previous diagnosis of pre-eclampsia. So might be worth asking why you're taking it/what category you fall in x

I had to take aspirin in my second pregnancy. During my first I developed high blood pressure at 34 weeks and started to get protein in urine - thankfully didn’t end up with pre enclampsia but my midwife put me on aspirin second pregnancy to prevent any of that happening and it seemed to work. My blood pressure stayed under control whole pregnancy and never any protein in urine either xx
