One of the reasons I put her in preschool was to break the screen habit.
Some days none and some days 30 min
0. We leave it for emergencies, like flights, hospitals or whatever. He has to come up with ways to entertain himself lol. It's better if he knows screen time at home is not an option. I see how the tantrums exacerbate when he sees a screen and we take it away. I do not want to deal with that 😬
A fair bit. We don't put screen time on a pedestal so he's pretty meh about it
10/15 min a day. We only use it for doing her hair (it’s the only way). We used to do more and it generated so many tantrums that we decided to remove it. She now does not even ask for it.
Educational shows for kids only! My daughter has learned to speak and soooo many things from TV! She’s already ready for kindergarten despite being only 2 years old! We usually need to give her screen time during meals so that she can eat properly. Once the meal is over I usually turn it off. Other times like if I’m working from home and I have an important meeting then I’ll leave her with the tv, and then on flights, in restaurants, ect.
Soooo my husband is a SAHD and he has the tv on constantly in the background. While inside, they watch for a little, then play, then watch, then play, etc… Tablet is for long car rides only (we travel 8 hours to see family a few times a year). And they play on my phone while I clip their nails lol.
Way too much lol 😆
