Entertaining baby

My LO is 12 weeks, I know I should be playing with him more but I'm just so knackered all I want to do is sit on the couch! Can anyone recommend what I can do to keep him more entertained using minimal energy😅

Following for tips! We have a foil emergency blanket which my 12 week old loves for sensory play, just place her on it and rustle it. We also read a few books lying on the bed, listen to nursery rhymes and have little spa sessions like a bath (playing with water) and some simple baby massage x

Mirror, they love looking in a mirror at the moment. Keeps them entertained. Playing music is good for them. Honestly do not feel bad at all at this stage, there's not loads you can do. Just still very much eat sleep and poo for them

I pop him on the mat with his little things above and he throws himself about on it. I put the little black and white cloth that I have as well out. I also have a toddler. So I'm barely getting any me time. So when she's at nursery 2 days of the week. I grab myself a tea and watch my programmes You'll miss these early days when you can still do that and LO is entertained. Do not feel bad xx

Play matt with hanging toys in it, including mirror, sensory toys and attached piano that when being kicked plays sounds/music. Tummy time with crawling crabby, water play matt ( sensory). These all don't take much of your energy but makes busy and entertaining little one 😇

The fisher price kick & play piano mat is worth its weight in gold. Hours of fun while you can get on with other things. We got one on Vinted for £20

Sometimes I just put him on the mat. Yesterday I put the baby club on on BBC iPlayer just to give me song ideas to ring along too and he seemed to like it! It gets easier when they can do more!
