Announce when you are ready to 😊 We told parents and family first at 14 weeks then made big announcement prob about 20 weeks. Everyone is different ofcourse. It was Easter when we announced so we got Easter eggs and labelled then gran, grandad, aunt, uncle, cousin etc. Congratulations xx

We announced to most people after our first scan. We had to tell some people earlier though as they would have guessed - for example with my eldest we stayed with friends on holiday for 10 days and they would have easily guessed from the fact I wasn't drinking alcohol and I was throwing up all the time. With my youngest we stayed with my mum for a week and again she would have noticed how ill I was while I was staying at her house. I pretty much had to hide with my youngest as I got a bump really early so it looked really obvious 😂

The best time is when you feel ready 😊 We kept it pretty low-key until after my 20-week scan but that was our personal preference to tell friends in person when we got the chance.

We travelled for the first couple of weeks (I know, best time to do so 😆), and that made it easy to keep it a secret. But we told my work at 13 weeks, because of me having to be abstracted from certain duties, and then our families at 16 weeks when we were seeing them (my parents live abroad). But everyone is different and their pregnancies are unique, such as showing quickly or wanting that privacy bubble for example 😊
