And the tonie box is a new thing for us for about 4 months now. She got into paw patrol so we got her some of them figures. Before this we had to lay with her. She’s 3.5 years too 🙂 xxx
Yep we’ve just started having the same issues with our 3.5 year old xx
Yes we’ve had similar issues with our 3 year old. Taking ages and stalling at bedtimes, then waking up at 5am ready for the day. Also on the odd occasion waking up in night screaming x
@Megan I had thought about a Tonie box as my friend uses one for the same reason and it worked. Xx
I asked about this very thing earlier as my almost 3 year old is doing the exact same. Exhausted!
Is everyone else’s 3yo also acting really different recently too personality wise? Mine is like he’s possessed, totally just ignoring everything and acting very strange 🫣
@Claudia I’ve noticed a huge shift in my little girl. Much more “grown up”, ignoring and laughs like a mad woman 🫣
@Rebecca I’d try it, if there’s a character/princess she really likes then start off with that to get her into it xx
@Megan we borrowed our friends and it has been a huge flop. But I've moved her bed and left her door open and she's stopped screaming and crying at least. This is hard, and even harder as there's no telling when it will end 😭 xx
@Jordan hahaha oh god! Mine does this evil ‘he he heee’ noise and rubs his hands together when he’s about to do something he knows he’s not allowed to do, e.g take his baby brothers dummies and go hide 🫠
@Claudia they’re little 💩s 🫣😂😂😂
We had this and my little girl is nearly 4! The thing that worked for us is being consistent with bedtime and do the same thing each night so they feel safe. Get the environment right with nice relaxing light, book before bed and we’ve started singing a bedtime song! I also stroke her hair to sleep and she’s settled down again! She does wake up in the night now as she is scared but we just pop her back to bed and I do the song again and stroke her hair back to sleep 💗 just remember it’s not forever 💗
Have you tried a Tonie Box, my girl goes to sleep to it. If she wakes in the night she just puts that back on and when she wakes up in the morning she just comes into our room or just gets up if we are already up. We’ve had that she don’t want to go to bed or scared of the dark etc, so sometimes we sit with her for a little bit but we’ve continued with white noise as we have a young baby and one on the way, it has a night light. She also still likes her comfort which is a muslin to sleep and a cuddly toy (if not all of them😂). When her brother was young she woke up in the night but we took her straight back into her room and said it’s not time to wake up. We make sure she goes toilet before bed and has a drink next to her tonie box xx Don’t know if this helps but just some things to try xxx
