Baby Engagement
Hi ladies, i had my midwife today, 36 weeks tomorrow and shes said that baby boy is 3/5 engaged, is that a lot? Is that very engaged at this point? Iv never got this far in pregnancy so im not so clued up haha

She said to me she thinks im 2/5 engaged but without a scan she cant be certain hut i have a scan tomorrow anyway x
I wouldn’t think too much about engagement. Babies can pop in and out of the pelvis and could go from deeply engaged to floating above in a few hours, and vice versa. Engagement is also not a sign of labour coming so I wouldn’t worry x
@Becca i was glad she said hes engaging because iv been having some cramping for the past couple days and she said thats because hes started to engage x

@Amy the line represents the pelvic brim so right at the top of your pelvis and your cervix is located lower down in your pelvis x
