Identity Crisis? Possible PND?

3 Months postpartum. My daughter just had her second lot of needles. So she is very clingy. I honestly don’t even have time to eat. My milk supply has dropped. When oh when will I feel like myself again? I don’t want to make plans with friends and most family. I’m on the depot for the first time. Until I had my daughter at 25, I hadn’t consistently been on any contraception. I just feel a bit all over the place. I feel so frustrated and irritated especially with my partner and he is trying so hard. Whenever I raise a concern or ask for help he makes a change and is there. I honestly don’t know what to do. I miss sex but feel the least sexiest. I’m back doing my weight training workouts and I’m still 2 stone heavier than I was at 8 weeks pregnant. So please I think I just need a bit of hope for a first timer in the trenches 🥺

You’re still so freshly postpartum. You have to give yourself grace for going through such a traumatic experience! All your feelings are normal. It’s great that you have such a supportive partner, and since he is able to help out, ask for a little more give to work on yourself. Honestly, i didn’t even feel like myself until i hit a year. I just started working out and eating healthy again. I’m STILL 20lbs heavier than when i got pregnant. I’m giving myself grace to recover and get back into shape on my own pace. Not everyone “snaps back” into old routines easily. You’re doing amazing 🫶🏻

@Kayla Honestly you have no idea how reassured I feel after reading your comment. Thank you so much. I put so much pressure on myself to thrive and I don’t listen when I tell myself that I just had a baby. I don’t listen to my partner either when he says to go easy either. Thank you so much Kayla for sharing your experience xx

Im glad i could help! It’s easier to always just blame ourselves, especially when we see others like 2 days postpartum on social media being so chipper and back at it. Truly it’s a marathon, not a sprint. You got this!!
