Did you make noise or were you quiet during labour?

There's definitely no right or wrong here by the way! Just curious to know if you felt like roaring or not? What felt best for you?

No just swore ALOT 😂

Same as Alex🤣🫣

I only gave off twice during labour. Once when my mum kept telling me contractions where starting (as if I couldn't feel them) then the second time when my partner was replying to my friend during me pushing and i needed a drink 🤣

I let out deep hums and moans, the more pain the louder they got

Quiet. Almost broke a hand. But quiet 😬

Pretty quiet moans for most of it, but straight banshee screamed the last 30 minutes 🤣

I grunted a bit during the bit of labour I got to experience. There was a lady down the corridor screaming for about 3 hours. I remember saying we had our own opera going on because even with the door shut I could hear it.

My whole body took over and I shouted, couldn’t help it, the drs told me to stop shouting but I physically couldn’t😂

I made like moaning cow sounds both times, didn't know I could make those noises. It felt very natural to make all those noises though and I was glad in my labor class they hd taught that low sounds helped not increase pain sensations, because my husband would model a low noise each time I started to go higher. It helped kind of ground me with my first labor 🤍

@Alex 🤣

I mooed 🐮

No screaming or anything. I was able to talk pretty easily until about 7-8cm in both my labors so just chatted until then. I was quiet during contractions past that point but I'm pretty sure I made some cow noises while pushing. I wasn't really in control of them, they just happened

@Latisha I can't believe they told you to stop shouting!!!!

@Lacy exactly right - they just happen 100% and trying to stop them would be so difficult ❤️

@Poppy (Pop That Mumma) I know I was shocked , I just kept shouting😂 , my body did it naturally so that’s what I did! Can’t stop what the body naturally does!
